Our History and Mission
Stafford Farmers Market opened in 2019 and has continued to grow and connect the community with local farmers, bakers, artisans and musicians. Everything at our market is Connecticut grown, raised, handmade and handcrafted. Our goal is to promote access to fresh, healthy, locally-grown food and products and strengthen our community and local food system. We are proudly Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) certified and thanks to our very generous donors, including Bethlehem Church, we are able to double all FMNP benefits! We welcome you all, including your leashed furry friends.
One-Stop Shop
We offer a delicious variety of fresh and local fruits, vegetables, herbs, eggs, chicken, beef, pork, breads, baked goods, flowers, maple syrup, honey, freeze dried fruits and vegetables, teas and so much more!
Family-Friendly Fun
Every week we have live music, food trucks, and family-friendly events such as raffles and giveaways, scavenger hunts, an amazing youth market, games, and more! It's fun for all ages!
